Loudpedal Productions is the official video of Ventura Raceway the “Greatest Little Dirt Track in America.”
Mike Truex’s Ventura video experience started in 1988 with amateur video of a number of Ventura TQ, Midget, and Sprint Car events. Prior to Loudpedal Productions inception in 1999, videographer Mike Truex shot video for the Sprint Car Racing Association from 1996-1999.Submissions include video on “Raceday”, “Speedweek”, “RPM Tonight”, and “Speed Channel.” Mike also helped anchor the racing television program “Saturday Night at the Races” on KADY for the 1999 racing season. Loudpedal Productions became the official video of Ventura Raceway beginning in the 2001 racing season.

Ventura Raceway is located in Ventura, CA on the Ventura County Fairgrounds at Seaside Park. The track is accessible from the California exit off the 101 freeway in Ventura.
The track is a semi-banked, dirt, tight ¼ mile oval, and host to the Ventura Racing Association (VRA). VRA sanctions 360 non-wing sprint cars, 360 non-wing senior sprint cars (45 and older), VRA Pony Stocks, VRA Dwarfs, VRA Senior Dwarfs, VRA Focus Midgets, and a number of VRA Youth Divisions from ages 6-16.
In each racing season specialty shows include USAC Western States Midgets (Full Midgets),USAC/CRA 410 non-wing sprint cars (including the “Wagsdash”), Outlaw Motorcycles, Ventura County Fair Demo Derby, IMCA Modifieds, NMRA TQ Midgets (¾ Midgets), and the “VRA/Bandit Grandslam” or non-wing 360 sprint cars.
